The boat is a 17' alumaweld super pro guide model and the flooring is starting to warp pretty good. figure i'll replace the oversize gas tank(42gal.) w/ a more reasonable 18gal. tank (i never trust the gauge so always put $10 in before i go on the river.. I'm planning on starting my decking and flooring project on my tracker 1542 next weekend, the only thing i haven't decided on is what thickness i need for the aluminum flooring and the decking.. Re: floor materials for aluminum boat do not use pt anywhere near an aluminum boat. corrosion will occur. i used exterior grade sealed with epoxy resin for my deck. marine grade is a superior product but costs a lot more. hopefully someone more knowledgeable than i will chime in about mdo and hdo..
Heavy duty sport boats features: high quality and affordable, the salter sport 320cm (10'6"), aluminum floor insert, light weight aluminum seats, increased thickness and durability boat material at 1.2 mm thickness, heavy duty fiberglass laid transom, 4 separate air chambers, one-way rear drain valve, safety pressure valves for over inflation. I own a 14′ deep v lund fishing boat – 3 bench seats riveted on currently. i would like to add a floor to the inside of the boat (and a casting dock up front) and am wondering if anyone has experience doing this.. It’s interesting to know that when it comes to using diamond plate for flooring in a trailer, that there are ways to determine what the thickness needs to be..
